Terms of Use

Last updated 20 July 2026

The short version

Fidget Lab is a toy. You get a free seven-day trial, after which continued use requires a subscription or a one-off unlock. We don't collect your data, we don't show adverts, and we don't have accounts. If something goes wrong, email us and we'll sort it.

Free trial

Every install includes a seven-day free trial with full access to all thirteen mechanisms and every customisation option. No payment details are required to start the trial. When it ends, the app requires a purchase to continue.

Purchases

Two options are offered inside the app:

  • Monthly — £4.99 per month. This is an auto-renewable subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each monthly period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Unlock Forever — £19.99 as a single payment. Not a subscription, nothing renews, and it stays with your Apple Account permanently.

Prices shown are for the United Kingdom. Prices in other countries are set in local currency and may differ. The price shown in the app at the moment of purchase is the price you pay.

Managing and cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are managed entirely through your Apple Account, not by us. Open Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Apple is the seller of record for all purchases, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple declines and you think the situation is unfair, email us anyway and we'll see what we can do.

Restoring a purchase

If you reinstall the app, change device, or the app stops recognising your purchase, tap Restore a previous purchase on the unlock screen. Purchases are tied to the Apple Account that made them, so sign in with the same one.

What we don't do

We don't collect personal data, create accounts, show adverts, or track you. The app works fully offline and makes no network requests other than to Apple's own purchase system. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

What the app isn't

Fidget Lab is a toy, not a medical device or a treatment. We make no claim that it improves attention, focus, anxiety or any symptom of ADHD or any other condition, and nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice. We wrote up what the research actually says rather than making claims we can't support.

Acceptable use

Don't decompile, redistribute or resell the app, and don't try to circumvent the purchase mechanism. Beyond that, use it as much as you like.

Availability and changes

We may update the app, change features, or adjust pricing. Existing lifetime unlocks are honoured permanently and will not be converted into a subscription. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you and ask you to consent before charging the new amount.

Liability

The app is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, or your rights under the consumer law of your own country.
